Det är ett öppet system så dina transaktioner kan ses av alla, och du kan (under STATS) se vad som händer i hela bytesbanken. Se vad de andra haft för sig, om de ligger på plus eller minus e t c. Det syns alltså om två personer börjar byta Bits på låtsas.
Funktionerna kan tyckas komplicerade och sanningen är att alla behövs egentligen inte.

Detta är en fri marknad. Om du har "fel" tjänst eller är "för dyr" så hör ingen av sig. Men vi tror att systemet fungerar som bäst när vi är över 300 medlemmar.

Du bör byta lösenord efter att du loggat in första gången. Detta gör du under [My Record]. Det måste vara 8 tecken långt.

Lägg gärna in en bild på dig själv under [My Record], det blir trevligare så. Det blir lättare att ta kontakt om vi vet hur motparten ser ut.

När vi är cirka 50 medlemmar som erbjuder tjänster kör vi igång.

Du kan när som helst under "my record" stoppa dina erbjudanden (dölja dem).
Vill du inte erbjuda dina tjänster till en viss medlem så kan du helt enkelt säga att du inte har tid, eller att du inte vill erbjuda din tjänst förrän den personen ligger på plus på sitt konto. Just nu kan man som mest ligga på minus 1000 Bits (d v s kronor). Det kommer att ökas när vi ser att allt fungerar.
Varje transaktion debiteras 3% som används till bl a hemsidan. Kan komma att sänkas i framtiden.

Under MY RECORD kan du ändra/ta bort dina befintliga tjänster.
Under WANTS kan du söka efter specifika tjänster. De ses av andra.

Funktioner till vänster
1. Transaktion. När du sålt något så begär du BITS genom denna funktion.
5. Du kan skicka en tydlig faktura om köparen vill ha det. Men den gäller inte som kvitto i den vanliga bokföringen. Inget vi gör i Bytesbanken gäller i ärenden med skatteverket.

6. Rekomendation. Gillade du tjänsten? Rekomendera säljaren.
7 och 8 behövs bara fyllas i om säljaren vill ha en skriftlig order.

Add Offerings to Remote Groups

Expand your 'market' by advertising your Offerings in the Offerings Lists of other CES groups in other countries. Some offerings can be advertised remotely, such as editing, copy writing, proof reading, web site creation e t c

Add Wants to Remote Groups
It is also possible to add Wants to the Wants Lists of other CES groups. For example, if you are travelling to another area and need accommodation.

Community Exchange Network on Ning

Please join the new Community Exchange Network social networking site on Ning. Join the group for your exchange (if its there yet!), other groups or start one of your own. As the global markets crash around our heads, let's get discussing how we can create a new stable money system that will protect us from the ravages or our collapsing national currencies.

 Join or Create Groups

The long-awaited Groups feature is now operating. Click on the new [Groups] button above and discover a whole new dimension to the CES site.

Groups is a multi-functional feature but its prime purpose is to provide social networking facilities to enhance the community aspect of the Community Exchange System.

A group is any number of CES users brought together for any collective purpose. This can be anything such as an online discussion group, a number of users who get together to form a real-life club or association, a company or organisation that wants to manage its employees or members, and you can even create your own private list of traders or friends.

Groups can be local in that all members of the group are from your own exchange, or global in that members can be from any exchange anywhere. A global group can also be set up for users in one country, a locality or even in one organisation or company where members have accounts in different exchanges. More...

 Hide your offerings

If you would like to hide an offering, click on the [My Record] button above. Then from your Account Details page click on the My offerings [View/Edit] button. This will bring up your personal list of offerings. Simply click on 'Hide/Unhide offer' under the Actions menu. This will change the status of the offering to hidden, or if it is already hidden, back to visible.

You might want to do this with an offering that you want to display at certain times but withdraw at other times. A hidden offering will not show on the Offerings List or be found through a search.

Hide Hide your contact details

You are required to provide your full contact details to the administration, but if you don't want them to display on the web site it is now possible to hide whichever details you don't want others to see.

Click on the [My Record] button at the top and on the right of your contact details you will see little checkboxes. Tick those details you don't want to show and then press the [Update Record] button. The selected details will no longer show when others look at your profile.

Upload a picture of yourself

It is now possible to upload a picture of yourself so that other users can see what you look like!
 To do this, click on the [My Record] button at the top. In your personal profile you will see 'Upload photo'. Use the [Browse] button to find the image on your computer and when you press the [Update Record] button it will be uploaded to the server. Your picture will now appear on your profile when others look at it. There is more information on the [Help] button.
